Tomorrow, March 21st, marks the new year of the astological calendar. The astrological year finishes in Pisces, the sign of mysticism, dreams, the subconscious and complete oneness with the divine. Pisces experiences a deep intimacy with the universe. Being the final water sign and having a mutable modality, this intimacy with the divine can’t help but be felt. Pisceans often struggle with the feeling of being lost in the physical world, this is because they experience reality more fully within. They drift like the ocean, their main planetary ruler, Neptune’s changing tides effect their psyche. Their watery, mutable nature seeps into its surroundings, looking for wholeness through their becomings, they drift from person to person to find fulfilment. This influence comes from their co-ruler Jupiter. Jupiter is the seeker and the philosopher, it searchers for a higher meaning behind existence. Neptune and Jupiter’s merging to create the final sign shows finding truth through transcendence, the escape of the individual personality to not only become one with everything, but be everything.

The journey from Aries through to Pisces shows the journey to ultimate consciousness. Now we are beginning a new cycle. Aries is the first step, our first breath, life before conditioning or borders to protect our self from the outside world (sharing that sensitivity with Pisces as it becomes undone).
